Many Americans would be lost without a cup of coffee when they wake up?
Coffee has engrainged itself into American culture as the breakfast drink of choice. Millions of Americans wake up and plug in their coffee pot and wait for a freshly cup of brewed coffee. The usual coffee makers in the states.S. are drip coffee makers and coffee urns. Drip coffee makers do just that, they drip water through the ground up coffee and the end results is the coffee leaking into the coffee pot or carafe waiting below. Coffee urns, or sometimes referred to as a coffee pot boils the water into the ground coffee. The end result is somewhat different tasting than a drip pot but both methods work and is usually seen as a matter of taste. Some coffee lovers do not like coffee urns because they find they can scorch the coffee.
Kraft foods, well known for their diary products, owns Gevalia coffee, a popular brand of coffee in North America. A Gevalia coffee pot can often be purchased for free or very cheaply, with coffee due to the many special offers Gevalia runs on a regular basis.
There are dozens if not hundreds of offerings for coffee makers and coffee pots out in the consumer market available for purchase. They can range from $20 to as high as hundreds of dollars, depending upon on how fancy you want to get. Most coffee makers sell the pots or karafes seperately in the event yours should break and need a replacement. Replacements can sometimes be purchased at the store or ordered online. In some cases, it's more economical to purchase a new coffee maker, however.
